2000-01 French Lick Legends
- Point Guards: M. Bibby, V. Cummings; Bibby is a
very good point guard. He is solid in every category. Cummings and Drew,
(the only other 2 PG's), can be characterized in one word
"garbage". Bibby has 3155 minutes and he better use all of them.
Rating: 5.0/10.0
- Shooting Guards: R. Mercer, 6 others; Mercer
is an average SG. His numbers are not impressive nor are they disappointing.
Maybe a strong point is that there are 6 others who can play this position. Rating 7.0/10.0
- Small Forwards: P. Pierce, 6 others; Pierce (aka
slash) is an all-star in the making. He leads the team in scoring and should
see the majority of the minutes here. There is again allot of flexibility
here to make a difference. Rating 8.0/10.0
- Power Forwards: R. Wallace, T. Kukoc; Wallace has
been waiting for this moment for a while. He has a very good shooting % at
.519, his rebounding is ok and he has over 100 blocks. After Wallace there
is a serious downgrade. Kukoc had his worse year and the other 2 possible PF
are undersized Rating 6.0/10.0
- Centers: E. Johnson, T. Mills; Johnson
has turned out to be a pretty decent center. His numbers are nice and his
defense is right up there. Mills is not bad, but watch your wrists as you go
into the lane, with 242 fouls in 1842 minutes, he may slap them right
off. Rating 6.5/10.0
- Bench: Jim has assembled a team of SG's and SF's.
He is thin at PF and especially C and his backup PG's are horrible. Good
starting 5 may get him into the playoffs. Rating
5.0/10.0
- Management: Jim has been with the GLBA since 1997
and he has always had a tough time getting his team going. Last year he
turned the corner and this year might be his time. Jim is not as active as
some owners, but he is on-line quite a bit and he always responds when
needed. Might need to work on the manager profiles a bit to help his team
beat the better teams. Jim has built this team from the bottom, literally.
