2000-01 Rhode Island Lemonheads

• Point Guards: N. Van Exel, A. Miller: Van Exel shoots as much as he talks and claims to be open in the locker room. Van Exel is not afraid to dish the ball off and his defense is surprisingly good. Maybe Van Exel is a candidate for laser eye surgery? Miller has a very promising future in the NBA and GLBA. There is nothing but good things to come from this kid.   Rating: 7.5/10.0
• Shooting Guards: L. Sprewell, T. McGrady: Would anyone like to be the coach these guys? Who will shoot? Sprewell will spend most of the season trying to pry the team away from McGrady. McGrady has an unusual intimidate (12) for a SG/SF. All of McGrady's numbers are very good. This team will be very interesting to see if Van Excel, Sprewell, and McGrady are on the floor at the same time. Rating 7.5/10.0
• Small Forwards: A. Jamison, R. Lewis: Both players have solid scoring numbers but on this team, that might not be what the Lemonheads are looking for out of this group. Unfortunately, the defense this 2 players claim to have doesn't fit with what the Lemonheads would like either. Look for Sprewell or McGrady to get most of the minutes at the SF position.   Rating 6.0/10.0
• Power Forwards: V. Baker, M. Taylor: These guys sound like a law firm. They have very high scoring averages, but only Baker has the rebounds needed on this team. Both have above average defense, but on this team, the chemistry might need a fine tuning. Rating 7.0/10.0
• Centers: E. Campbell, C. Laettner: Finally, a couple of players that fit well with this team. Neither of these guys are high shooters, but on this team its not needed. Neither of these C's are top notch, but they are serviceable. Rating 5.0/10.0
• Bench: This is one of the deepest team in the league, they have the most scoring punch then anyone. I see allot of 130-120 games in the Lemonheads future. This team of egos will run and gun with anyone. SG is the only sore spot on this team. Which may hurt against good teams. Rating 7.0/10.0
• Management: Mike has been around for a couple of years and is responsible for bringing in a few owners that have really worked out. His participation is as good as well his manager profile submissions. He has put together a high powered team that may compete for a playoff spot. This will be is toughest year, because he has acquired allot of talent and needs to balance the power. Rating: 8.0/10.0
